Match Availability

July 8, 2010 11:09 by doug

The list for the home match against Downfield will be on the board on Saturday (10/7).

Please confirm your availabilty or add your name to the list as soon as possible thereafter.

We have had one or two late call-offs recently and it would be good to have a full, confirmed team for this match since it is the only one where we still have a chance of an overall victory.

Downfield Away 2010

July 8, 2010 11:04 by doug

On another damp evening, our team performed better than usual at Downfield to gain a half, 3-3.

This is a hopeful sign for the second leg which is on Tuesday 3rd August at 5pm.

We have had one or two late call-offs recently so it would be helpful if those who indicated a desire to play could confirm their availability asp after the notice goes up on Saturday (10/7).

Scotscraig Away 2010

July 8, 2010 10:58 by doug

Just when it looked like we were going to pull back the 1 - 5 deficit from the first leg, we were pulled off the course for a lightening warning.

There then was no lightening, only sunshine, but my claim that this should give us an overall half was dismissed out of hand.

As a result, Scotscraig have regained the Tanner Quaich.

Please note the following changes to the fixture schedule.

Captain v Vice Captain:  now to be played on Friday 6th August from 4.15pm.

Golf and BBQ:  now to take place on Sunday 22nd August from 2pm.

Sorry for the short (very short!) notice - I hope that I have been distracted by other issues and not that I'm becoming "wandered".
