Dalhousie recorded an excellent victory over Scotscraig on Thursday evening in the first leg of the contest for the Tanner Trophy on the Championship Course, despite a few late team changes. An obviously delighted - though suitably modest - team captain, Ian Wilson, led from the front as he and Gordon Adam won the first match and the team responded to take a narrow lead into the second leg, which takes place at Tayport in July. An excellent meal in the hotel and plenty of conviviality with a very sociable Scotscraig team brought a fine evening to a close. Team results - click on link below
