The early morning start and the long return journey were rewarded when Dalhousie Seniors comprehensively defeated Dunbar Seniors 5-1 at Dunbar on June 16 in the first leg of their defence of the Dundal Trophy. The home match over the Championship Course is on Tuesday, August 11. One win and one halved match out of six will retain the trophy - but we will want to do better than that!
